单词 | base period |
释义 | base period The period whose data are identified with 100 (sometimes 1) in constructing an index number. In the UK, for example, in 2001 official data on national income aggregates were using 1995 = 100 as their base. base-weighted index or Laspeyres index numbers derive their weights from base-period data, but current-weighted index or Paasche index numbers do not. |
