| 释义 | Prudential Regulation Authority Prudential Regulation Authority(PRA) A new body established in April 2013 as the UK’s prudential regulator for banks, building societies, credit unions, insurers, and major investment firms. Under the Financial Services Act 2012 it is one of two successor bodies to the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the other being the Financial Conduct Authority. The stated objective of the PRA is to play a more active role in promoting the safety and soundness of institutions than the FSA and to create a more resilient financial system. It is part of the Bank of England. |
