Given that both have tradable substitutes, however, there is an indirect connection between their prices. Even goods which are very expensive or impossible to transport can still be consumed by tourists and by people visiting a country for medical treatment or education, so it is hard to say that any good is completely non-tradable; whether goods are tradables or non-tradables is a matter of degree. |
