释义	Tokyo Round The round of international trade talks under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade held in 1973-9. The round was named from its opening conference in Japan. It reached agreement on tariff cuts on most world trade in manufactures by about a third, implemented over the following five years. It failed to reach any agreement on agricultural protection or non-tariff barriers to trade.
