单词 | evolutionary theory of the firm |
释义 | evolutionary theory of the firm The view that the survival of firms is an evolutionary process. Because of limited information and bounded rationality, firms cannot deliberately choose strategies which guarantee survival. Actual survival is due to a combination of a corporate philosophy which leads to the choice of strategies appropriate to a firm's economic environment, and sheer chance. |
