单词 | capital-intensity |
释义 | capital-intensity The ratio of capital employed to output in a process, a firm or an industry. Of all feasible techniques, firms normally choose the cheapest. Thus the capital-intensity of the preferred technique depends on the relative cost of using capital and other factors of production. A rise in the relative cost of using capital may lead to the choice of a less capital-intensive technique, if one is available. |
