释义 | real variable A variable in economics which is measured in physical units of some sort: for example, the level of employment, or the volume of oil extracted in a year. Real variables are contrasted with the other two types of variable common in economics: monetary variables, such as the price level or the annual profits of a firm; and pure numbers or ratios, such as elasticities or the percentage of the labour force unemployed. |
