单词 | charge card |
释义 | charge card A plastic card entitling the holder to purchase goods or services, usually up to a prescribed limit, and requiring payment in full, or of an agreed proportion, at regular intervals (usually monthly). Charge cards usually only cover purchases from the issuers' retail outlets. However, some banks issue charge cards (e.g. American Express, Diners' Club), which have a wide acceptability similar to credit cards but they do not have the facility to roll over credit.
