| 释义 | chairman’s report chairman’s report(chairperson’s report; chairwoman’s report) A report by the chair of a company in the annual report and accounts (seeannual accounts), addressed to the members of the company, giving an overview of the company’s activities during the financial period. These statements are not prescribed by regulation and often present a favourable view of the activities and prospects of an organization. The report often also gives a survey of what can be expected in the coming year. It is signed by the chairperson, who usually reads it at the annual general meeting. |
