Value Line Index
An equal-weighted stock index containing 1,700 companies from the NYSE, American Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and over-the-counter market.
Also known as the "Value Line Investment Survey". Investopedia Says:
As this is an equal-weighted index, each of the 1,700 stocks are assigned identical weights in the calculation.
