Hands-Off Investor
An investor who accepts a passive management role in a company, even while holding a large portion of the company's stock. Investopedia Says:
Hands off investors usually take a passive position because they are satisfied with the company's current management or they do not wish to become involved. However, if they feel that management is not performing as well as it should, the hands-off investor may become actively involved. Related Terms:
