释义 | nominal price 1) A minimal price fixed for the sake of having some consideration for a transaction. It need bear no relation to the market value of the item. 2) The price given to a security when it is issued, also called the face value, nominal value, or par value. For example, XYZ plc 25p ordinary shares have a nominal price of 25p, although the market value may be quite different. The nominal value of a share is the maximum amount the holder can be required to contribute to the company. 3) An estimated price for a time period in which the security under consideration is not traded. |
