British Bankers Association = BBA A London-based organization that represents the views of all the banks recognized in the UK. Founded in 1919, it is regarded as the banks' trade association. It established model contracts for financial instruments and publishes daily market interest rates in major eurocurrencies. It collects and publishes London Inter Bank Offer Rate Quotes, which are the basis for many financial contracts expressed on BBA terms. |
