| 释义 | adjudication 1) The judgment or decision of a court, especially in bankruptcy proceedings. 2) An assessment by the Commissioners of Inland Revenue of the amount of stamp duty due on a document. A document sent for adjudication will either be stamped as having no duty to pay or the taxpayer will be advised how much is due. An appeal may be made to the High Court if the taxpayer disagrees with the adjudication. |
