| 释义 | Personal Investment Authority = PIA A Self-Regulating Organization that since 1993 has regulated the activities of investment business carried out mainly with or for private investors. The PIA took over many of the responsibilities of the Financial Intermediaries, Managers and Brokers Regulatory Association Ltd (FIMBRA) and the Life Assurance and Unit Trust Regulatory Organization (LAUTRO) and some of the activities of IMRO. It has been absorbed into the Financial Services Authority. |
