GENDER BIAS
1 bias (against/for/towards/in favour of sb/sth) if sb/sth has a bias, they are likely to prefer or dislike one thing, person or group rather than another, in an unfair way: Some institutions still have a strong bias against women. Unions have accused the company of racial and cultural bias. A new jury has been chosen to avoid possible bias.
