(Marketing ) a free advertisement that a publishing company, TV station, etc. gives a company if they have made a mistake in the advertisement that the company paid for or if not as many people have seen it as they promised: The advertiser must notify the account manager of any error or omission to be eligible for a makegood. No makegood will be given for minor spelling errors. If the network falls short of meeting its GRP (=gross rating point) delivery obligation for a package, then it makes up the difference with additional makegood units of advertising. |
