Quite often, this person will be different from both the ‘influencer’ of the buying decision and the ‘user’ of the product or service (seeconsumer buying behaviour). For example, a mother may—on the advice of a friend—make a purchase, which is consumed by her child. buyers’ market A market in which the supply exceeds the demand, so that buyers can force prices down. At some point, however, sellers will withdraw from the market if prices fall too low; when this happens the supply will fall off and prices will begin to rise again. Comparesellers’ market. |
