concert-party agreement An agreement between apparently unconnected people to act together to manipulate the share price of a company or to influence its decision making. Under the Companies Act the shares of the parties to such an agreement should be treated as if they were owned by one person, from the point of view of disclosing interests in a company’s shareholding.
