money broker In the UK, a broker who arranges short-term loans in the money market, i.e. between banks, discount houses, and dealers in government securities. Money brokers do not themselves lend or borrow money; they work for a commission arranging loans on a day-to-day and overnight basis. Money brokers also operate in the eurobond markets.
