| 释义 | margin call margin call A call to a client from his commodity broker or stockbroker to increase his margin, i.e. the amount of money or securities deposited with the broker as a safeguard. This usually happens if the client has an open position in a market that is moving adversely for this position. margin of safety The difference between the level of activity at which an organization breaks even and a given level of activity greater than the breakeven point. The margin of safety may be expressed in the same terms as the breakeven point, i.e. sales value, number of units, or percentage of capacity. |
