释义 | Institute of Directors Institute of Directors(IoD) A non-political organization for directors of companies, founded in London in 1903. There are approximately 40,000 members in the UK and more than 65,000 worldwide. Membership has increased more than 50% since the 1990s and includes directors from many sectors of the economy. The Institute encourages members to improve their standards of performance and represents the views of business leaders to government and other organizations.
