| 释义 | employers’ liability insurance employers’ liability insurance An insurance policy covering an employer’s legal liability to pay compensation to any of his employees suffering or contracting injury or disease during the course of their work. This type of insurance is compulsory by law for anyone who employs another person (other than members of their own family) under a contract of service. A certificate of insurance must be displayed at each place of work, confirming that employer’s liability insurance is in force and giving details of the policy number and the insurer’s name and address.
