In 2006 Venezuela chose to not continue with the agreement after joining the South American trade group Mercosur. This agreement covered such issues as the lowering of tariffs, easing of trade restrictions, public sector investments, intellectual property rights and many more. Also called G3 Free Trade Agreement. |
