释义 | W. Edwards DemingDefinition Statistician who has been credited with helping China's economy recover after World War II by educating management on a variety of quality-control techniques. Deming designed 14 points to help businesses improve operations. He also conceptualized and published seven additional points, which were titled "Seven Deadly Diseases". These seven points outlined factors that could decrease the effectiveness of a business. Most of Deming's recognizable work was done in Japan. He died in 1993 at the height of his popularity. |
