释义 | unconscionable bargainDefinition Entrapping deal on very unfair terms, such as buying a property from an expectant heir at grossly undervalued price, or a loan made at extortionate terms to someone in dire need. It is a transaction which no sensible person will enter into and which no honest person would accept. Courts often nullify or modify such bargains. Also called catching bargain or unconscionable transaction. |
