A report document that shows the amount of agricultural produce grown at a particular time. Crop reports are published a number of times in the year by the agricultural department of the government of various countries all over the world aimed at providing information on the type of crop yield of a country. Hence, it is a useful tool in measuring the strength of the agricultural industry of a country for investment purpose. It also helps to estimate the price of commodities. For example, if the sale of wheat increases so will flour, this price increase is then passed down to staple food like bread or pasta.
