An insurance policy that covers the construction, remodeling, or renovation of commercial and residential structures. This typically protects the contractor or developer from the loss, and may cover owners as well. The coverage is purchased within the first 30 percent of the project, and ends with owner possession, 90 days after completion, or abandonment.
