释义 | Black MondaysDefinition Three Mondays in three Octobers, over a period of 68 years, when the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) plunged by an unprecedented number of points (following days of extreme price volatility) and triggered heavy stockmarket losses world-wide. The first Monday was on October 28, 1929 when DJIA recorded a loss of 13 percent and lead to the great depression, the second on October 19, 1987 when DJIA fell by 508 points; and the third on October 27, 1997 when DJIA fell by 554 points. |
